Feis Ceoil success

Congratulations to Scarlett Xu (4GD) who was awarded the Terry O'Connor Trophy, Jayden Yao (1PH) who won the Double Bass competition, HongCheng Du (2KB) who won the Junior Classical Guitar competition, as well as Scarlett Xu (4GD) and Ava Middlekoop (4GY) who were placed first in Junior Piano duet at the Feis Ceoil.  Congratulations are also due to members of The High School Senior Quartet - consisting of Scarlett Xu (4GD), Darryl Ng (4MU), Faye Trench Thornton (3HH), and Marco Gonzalez (6ER) - who were awarded second place in the Hazel de Courcy Lewis Cup for the best performance by a string quartet in the Chamber Music competition.  The High School Orchestra was also awarded second place in the Post-Primary School Orchestra competition.  Scarlett Xu (4GD) and Conor James (4BY) were awarded second place in the St Cecilia Cup and Cello A competition, respectively.  We wish our pupils every success as they continue to compete for further honours in future competitions.
