Activity Overview
Each Easter since 2007, a team of 25 pupils and teachers from The High School has
travelled with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for families in developing countries.
Habitat for Humanity’s vision is to see “A world where everyone has a decent place to
live”. For more information on Habitat for Humanity, click 'here'.
This is a life-changing and challenging opportunity for 20 pupils from Forms 4 and 5. Pupils experience a truly different world and help to make a real difference to the lives of a local family. Each pupil must raise funds through activities such as table-quizzes, race nights, and bag packing. Every year new friendships are formed through shared experiences and pupils often look back on a Habitat trip as one of the highlights of their time at The High School.
